Givelify
Pending Not established that a gift to a never-registered organization completes after sign-in, or where the money would go.
Givelify, a giving app used mostly by churches, holds a pre-loaded record for most IRS-listed charities, marked unregistered, and serves each a public donate page with an amount picker and a GIVE NOW button. The flow then asks the donor to sign in. Whether the gift completes for an organization that never registered is not established, so the entry is pending.
The checklist
What we have checked on Givelify, what we found, and what it rests on.
- 1. Off-domain Yes
Pages sit at www.givelify.com/donate/<id>.
Basis: Dated evidence bundle - 2. Auto-generated Yes
37 of 40 random record ids, and 25 of 40 random tiny charities, are unregistered records with IRS-file names and addresses, and each renders a donate page. The platform says it serves "more than 80,000 organizations".
Basis: Dated evidence bundle - 3. No consent Yes
Pages exist for organizations that never registered. The help center tells an organization to find its existing record and select "This is My Organization" to sign up. No removal route is documented.
Basis: Dated evidence bundle - 4. Takes gifts Unclear
On an unregistered page the web flow runs amount, purpose and GIVE NOW to a modal reading "Give $25 to <organization>" that asks the donor to sign in. Whether the charge then completes was not tested: it needs an account and a card.
Basis: Dated evidence bundle - 5. Intermediary Unclear
For enrolled organizations Givelify is a payment agent that deposits the gift, less its fee, the next business day. Its terms do not say what happens to a gift for an organization with no account.
Basis: Dated evidence bundle - 6. Search-indexed Unclear
Partly. Pages carry no noindex and anyone can find them through Givelify's own search box without logging in. But donate pages are not in the sitemap, crawlers get a loading spinner, and 0 of 10 unregistered organizations had a Google result.

Request removal from Givelify
Search Givelify for your legal name and EIN first. If a page exists that you did not set up, send the request below. It takes about two minutes.
Where to send it
We have not found a removal route that Givelify publishes. Tell us what worked at report@shadowdonation.org.
Givelify's help center has no article on removing a pre-loaded record or its donate page.
Or claim it instead
To control the page instead, Givelify's help center says to sign up and claim the existing record.
- Search your organization's name, city and state on Givelify's signup page.
- Select Sign Up on your organization's tile, confirm the address and your authority to sign for it, and select This is My Organization.
